This month we are delighted to announce the opening of the new Slimming & Rejuvenation Department and offer a 20% price reduction for all aesthetical therapies at the clinic.
By visiting Unity Medical & Slimming Centre, you will receive detailed information about the range of medical aesthetics treatments offered by our highly trained specialists. In this article we are going to cover just one of them, providing our clients with a deeper knowledge of the well-known therapy in today’s market called ‘Liquid Facelift’.
Regardless of what some beauty companies want you to believe, there is no such thing as a cream or lotion that will ‘lift’ or ‘firm’ the skin by simply applying it to your face. However, there are several products that can be injected into the skin and produce dramatic improvements. By using a combination of injectable fillers such as hyaluronic acid and/or muscle immobilizing products such as Botox, lines can be minimised or erased, and sagging skin lifted and filled out.
Botox is a brand name of a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscles can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. It is most often used on forehead lines, crow's feet (lines around the eye) and frown lines.
Hyaluronic acid plays a critical role in skin health with its unique ability to hold in moisture (1000ml of water per gram of hyaluronic acid). It is also a ‘smart nutrient’, as it can adjust its moisture absorption rate based on the humidity, relative to the season and climate. Injections of fillers with hyaluronic acid into the wrinkles directly smooth out nasolabial folds, frown lines and retrieve face contouring.
Our reduced price offer is valid until 1st May 2014.
