Straight from the kitchen of our Zimi Restaurant at the Aphrodite Hills Resort - why not try this delicious pasta recipe our Chef and his Team are delighted to share with you.
• Tagliatelle Fresh pasta frozen 180g
• Olive oil 30 ml
• Chopped onion 50g
• Garlic 1 head
• Chicken stripes 120g
• Green asparagus tips Fresh, 15 Pieces
• White wine 20 ml
• Fresh cream 50 ml
• Parmesan flakes 10 grs
• Salt & Pepper
• Heat a casserole with salted water and bring to boil. Add the pasta and cook for 4 minutes
• In a frying pan add the olive oil & heat. When hot enough add the onion, garlic & sauté to a light gold color, add the chicken strips and sauté for another minute.
• Add the asparagus tips and deglaze with white wine.
• When wine has reduced, add the fresh cream and simmer until it reaches a thick consistency. Season to taste
• Strain the pasta and add to the frying pan.
• Toss together and serve.
• Decorate with Parmesan flakes.
